Lithomancy

Lithomancy:

If you are wounding what is Lithomancy? you had came to the right blog, in this website blog I am going to be giving you information about Lithomancy and how Lithomancy is used today to help psychics with their psychic readings.

Lithomancy is a form of divination using crystals, gems or precious stones (called siderites), and is sometimes referred to as 'psychic reading stones' and/or 'divination by stone'

It does not require any of the stone to have symbols on them. Divining by these stones is told by the way the stones fall and what the stones associated aspects are. for ex. Rose quartz-Love & harmony.
It is very easy to learn and I have found several people who have a natural affinity towards stones. It can be as simple or as complex as the caster wishes.

I feel it is important to go over stones aspects. and have a good knowledge of the stones you use. as with most divinations they should be attacted to you.

References to ‘divination by stone’ are found in ancient myths, religions, customs, rituals, and religious texts the world over. The stones used in some early forms of this art ranged from ordinary pebbles to crystals and precious gems. Some stones were polished to a smooth surface and etched with glyphs, shapes and symbols to indicate a special meaning. It is believed that such adaptations led to the earliest written language inscriptions, to Runic symbols, and later to the advent of Runes. By a stone of this kind, Helenus is reported to have foretold the destruction of Troy. Precious stones were not only used for the purpose of divination, but were in themselves held in the highest esteem as amulets or charms against the evil eye chiefly, but also against diseases.

The methods used to toss, drop, or arrange the stones (or other physical objects) vary, as well as the methods of interpretation. In some systems a strip of leather, lace, or other material was used to form a circle or some other geometric shape that held special significance. Some systems incorporated cloths of specific colors or boards divided into sections (rectangular grids, circles, triangles, etc.), each of which represented a certain area of life, astrological association or personal matter. In some methods the stones were arranged around a burning candle, while other methods relied on light from a ritualistic fire or just natural sunlight.

In the reflection method, a ceremonial candle light is preferred, and the gemstones are usually cast on black cloth for the psychic reading. Sometimes the stones or beads are not cast at all, but just arranged around the candle. A blue reflection usually means good luck, peace, tranquility, or a physical or spiritual healing. Red reflections indicate love, marriage, or maybe a sexual relationship; yellow reflections are said to indicate betrayal, perhaps a double-cross. Dark or grey reflections are said to foretell calamities, illness, death, misfortune, or the presence of evil; purple reflections are said to signify sorrow in the near future, and green reflections indicate success, or money.

In another method of Lithomancy, thirteen smooth pebbles or crystals are cast in lots and omens are drawn from the position in which they land. In this type of divination, the thirteen stones represent the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, the home, love life, health matters, magic, fortune and news.

Many methods of Lithomancy were based on astrological associations, and still are today. Opinions vary as to how and when these associations became incorporated into Lithomancy, but they were used in some ancient methods and became well-established in Europe and elsewhere by the medieval age.

In one system of Lithomancy (see links below), a Psychic Reader gains insights about a Subject's situation by interpreting the pattern formed when that subject (or that Psychic Reader) drops or tosses Sixteen Stones into a Circle, which represents the Subject's environment.

The Pattern that results visually represents, in symbolic form, the Subject’s life and present situation, as well as the most likely possibilities and events that will unfold over the next three months, and sometimes longer.

The Sixteen Stones consist of ten Planet Stones (Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) and six Personal Stones (Place, Life, Love, Luck, Magic or Time, and Commitments).
